STEM Hands is dedicated providing a high-quality STEM learning environment to enrich Deaf, Hard-of-Hearing, DeafDisabled, DeafBlind, and Late Deafened students knowledge and ability within the the distinct but related technical disciplines of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.

STEM HANDS is designed to increase access for Deaf, Hard-of-Hearing, DeafDisabled, DeafBlind, and Late-Deafened students to be included in the STEM learning environment through summer programs. Scott Cohen works within the communities to reach out to students, and community members to create memorable STEM summer program to enrich students’ STEM identity. The curriculum includes guest speakers, group activities, and field trips that promote personal growth to help students to consider their future in STEM fields. STEMHANDS also provide professional development for teachers who want to improve the quality of the STEM learning experience for their students.
